The Idea of Staying Undressed

The world of fashion is always changing with every single day. It makes you wonder where the idea of clothes came from. At one point, man was more than content to walk around naked as he hunted for food. It is said that man started wearing clothing a little over 70,000 years ago. Before then, man has spent half his life walking around naked. Science has been able to conclude this by studying the body lice which hides in man?s clothes in order to live. The idea of staying naked or with few clothes is therefore nothing new to man. 



It has been proven that many years ago, all human beings were naturists. This is because 70,000 years ago, that’s when people started wearing clothes. Who is a nudist? It is a person who does not wear clothes every time. Today there are very many social places for nudist dating. There are nude beaches, restaurants and vocational resorts for these kinds of people. It is a trend that people are actually referring to as a lifestyle. Believe it or not this lifestyle has its advantages and disadvantages.

If one did not know where the word nude originate from, it is order to note that it was originated from Greece. It is from the word gymno which means gymnasium. This meant that athletics were activities that were perceived with nudism. That is why most of the sporty activities are associated with the light dressing to allow flexibility. The nudist culture is associated with uncivilized communities and countries that are still holding on to cultures and myths. They do not find dressing as part of their lifestyle.


As the world changes, the more nudism is changing. As we had discussed earlier, nudism was allowed in sports where the athletes were not completely naked. Today being nude means completely naked. This is what makes people say it is being immoral. This is not because of ignorance but lack of information. To some it is ignorance whether you like it or not. The funny thing is that in these beaches and resorts, everybody minds his or her own business. Privacy is highly maintained. Taking of pictures and videos is not allowed. It is only allowed if the nudes give out their consent.


While others view nakedness as being evil and something to be frown upon, the nudist seems nakedness as a form of purity. How can nakedness be evil when man was born naked? A nudist views his beliefs as not only noble but also much healthier and cheaper in the long run. Many are concerned that being naked and exposed to the sun is a health risk but they would rather find a way around this than give up their belief. You can be sure that there are many recreational centers as well as hotels that support them.


Like with every new thing, there is a lot of resistance when it comes to the concept of open nakedness. Within the nudist community, there are varying beliefs and practices. Many people do not understand why people would chose to wear nothing without any ill motives. Whatever you may think, this new concept is here to stay and it is to your best interested to understand it.
